In Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, a girls' love for the arts began in childhood. Her Teather teacher saw something special in her and arranged an audition for a known Specialized Arts High School, so she could follow her calling. This pivotal moment changed the course of her life, setting her on the path to becoming the artist she is today.

Delia has honed her craft through a variety of specialized workshops, including Arturo Gaskins' Dramaturgy through Improvisation and Comedia del Arte, Johanna Ferrán's Physical Expression, Yamil Ureña's Castings and Auditions, and aerial arts training with Natali Droz and Isaira Noriega. These diverse experiences have equipped her with a well-rounded skill set, enabling her to bring depth, versatility, and authenticity to every role.

Delia’s breakthrough came with her role in the Caribbean Microtheater production Stiletto, which won Audience Favorite and earned her nominations for Best Drama Actress and Breakthrough Actress at the Victoria Espinosa Awards. Since then, her work has been showcased at both Puerto Rican and international film festivals, with her portrayal in the short film Pole earning her the Best Supporting Actress award at the prestigious Ponte Los Cortos Film Festival.

 

Her film career continued to blossom with performances in independent films like La Comuna and El Jacho: Una Leyenda Puertorriqueña (Monovisionpr), both of which received critical acclaim. Her performances have moved audiences to tears, with many praising her ability to evoke deep emotions and bring sincerity to every role.

Looking ahead, she is committed to continuous growth and determined to complete her Bachelor's Degree in Acting at the University of Puerto Rico, with plans to pursue a Master’s in Acting and study various acting techniques to further master her craft. Her long-term goal is to open an acting institute in Puerto Rico, offering world-class training for the next generation of actors. Ultimately, she hopes to create a global movement that inspires people to pursue their dreams—no matter the odds.
